The official blog for the Ink and Paper House of tennyoceres. Mizu Mikado is a (very silly) Japanese wordplay on part of my Etsy shop name. Ink, or sumi (すみ) becomes mizu (みず). Paper, or kami (かみ) becomes the basis of mikado (みかど). The literal translation is even sillier. It goes from ink and paper (炭と紙) to water emperor (水帝).
I'm not completely discouraged though. I now realize I have to do something else to realize my vision. On the bright side this piece does show the silver pixie dust I mixed with my clouds really well. Time to make some adjustments and improve.
